Music & Watercolor from the World of Darkness

UmbralVein

Twenty albums. One bloodline. And paintings that arrive the way pigment does — while you watch.

I · The Catalog

Twenty albums, read as one chronicle — sixteen already out

One hand, two mediums

Umbral Vein is the work of a single maker — an architect by trade, working from the dark, who builds the night twice: once in sound, once in pigment. The music is a twenty-album cycle telling the World of Darkness as one continuous chronicle. The paintings are its illuminated margins.

Fifteen years of drawing buildings taught a specific patience: structure first, then let the material misbehave beautifully. Ink and water misbehave more than most — which is precisely the point.
